This is for you ladies of Squamish!I purchased the Burrow Tapas Lounge 1 year ago from Amy and Selena, the 2 coolest restaurateurs in Squamish. It was Amy and Selena who coined our slogan: “Eat drink lounge”, what a concept! From this slogan grew the Burrow Tapas Lounge, quickly becoming the chicest spot in Squamish. Ladies looking for a place to strut their heels had found a home.
An interactive food experience is a basic ingredient in my philosophy. This philosophy infuses my passion for creating delicious food and wine menus. I believe that food and wine should be shared, no one should eat alone! Food, wine, art and music this is what I live for. The Burrow tapas lounge is a total reflection of the east coast meeting west coast. Since I moved to western BC Asian food has been a major part of my life. Being French Canadian I have mixed my appreciation for Asian food, with my taste for Quebecois cuisine, creating a “ Frenchasian” menu. The food menu is twisting right now, and my wine list is constently evolving, there is always something new!
This is for you downtown Squamish! La petite Burrow has only been open for one month, and the response has been amazing. La Petite Burrow is a French bistro where you can - Eat.sip.socalize. A bistro is a small restaurant, serving moderately priced simple meals, in a modest setting. Bistros are defined mostly by the foods they serve, and slow-cooked foods like braised meats are typical - beautiful menus built around simple foods. Bistros are cozy, petite, prompting the tradition of adding an extra chair in the middle of the place, joining tables with other guests, and challenging servers to manoeuvre through cramped corners. It is about creating a place where you never feel alone.
